Review: 5/5. From being molested as a child, her music career, her marriages, pregnancies, alcohol dependence, and family life changes she made you feel it. Growing up I listened to her music, but had no idea half of what she went through to get where she is today. It makes me sick to think of how badly the music and tv industries are about weight. She was 118 lbs, healthy for her height, and told she needed to get down to around 100lbs for her music career. Well any person would begin to have issues with body dysmorphia. She would have you crying on one page and literally laughing the next. I love how brutally honest she was. You felt what she felt during each of those times. 90% of the time I just wanted to reach out and hug her, the others I celebrated her victories or laughed with her. She went through so much more than most of us go through in a lifetime and she kept her faith. This is a huge testimony. I would highly recommend this book to anyone as it definitely will give you all the feelings.
