The Honey Don't List

Synopsis: For over 10 years, Carey Duncan has worked for Melly and Rusty Tripp, home remodeling and designers, tv stars, and authors. Although no one knows it, she helped them get to where they are all the while they helped her from herself. With a new show and marriage book launching, the Tripp's are about to become even bigger. James McCann has his master's in engineering. After an embezzlement scam occurs at his previous company no one wants to touch him even though he wasn't involved. He takes the first job offered and becomes engineer/assistant to Rusty Tripp. When James and Carey get told they will be doing a book tour with the Tripp's it isn't what they signed up for. They have to help keep America from finding out that this couple that is selling a book about their perfect marriage with marriage advice really cannot stand each other, all while giving up their own personal vacations. They begin to bond over this tour and find themselves falling for each other in unexpected ways. Will they be able to prevent America from finding out this secret? Will they be able to save their own relationship?

Review: 4/5 stars. I thought the relationship between Carey and James was cute and the perfect romcom romance. I could not stand Melly. I was so frustrated by her that I dropped my rating down a point. She was so selfish and entitled. It just irritated me. I felt bad for Rusty having to deal with her, but did not forgive his flaws either. I rooted for Carey and James throughout the entire book and hoped they would have something good while everything else in their lives hadn't been fabulous up until that point. I believe this book was entertaining, quick to read, and definitely worth picking up. I haven't ever read anything else by this author and plan to read more after this.
